A morning of contented – albeit hectic – blue is interrupted by an affectionate orange, which is applied with a sense of urgency, because there was an urgent journey I had to make to help someone close to me. Requests for favours from people I barely know punctured my efforts to get my own work done and so were black in colour and applied with force – the requests may have been small but together formed road blocks in my efforts to get things done in my own life, so my frustration was huge. But all against the backdrop of relative happiness.
